One of the most popular characters is one of Harry’s best friends, the clever and witty Hermione Granger. She is a character that many love and identify with, and learning how to draw Hermione Granger is a great way to show her love for the character. How to draw Hermione Granger – allows getting started!

Step 1

One of the defining visual characteristics of this character should be her big, bushy hair. With this, we will start in this first step of our guide on how to draw Hermione Granger. First, we will draw her bangs on her forehead. This fringe will be drawn using curved lines that end in pointed tips.

The top of her head will be drawn with curved lines connecting to each other, and then we can draw the sides of her hairstyle. We’ll use wavy lines that fall to the end in some pointed tips for the sides. This will help give the hair more volume and texture.

Step 2

The style we’ll use for this drawing of Hermione Granger will be cute and cartoony, as you’ll see in our examples! For now, we will draw her facial details of her. First, use some curved lines to outline her face.

Then she draws some big round shapes for her eyes and adds sharp lines extending from them for her eyelashes. She ends up with some circular shapes inside the eye contour for her pupils. Then we’ll use some simple lines for the nose, mouth, and eyebrows. She ends up drawing her striped scarf around her neck.

She uses curved lines to draw the sleeves of her robe, and these sleeves will be thinner at the base as they flare out towards the ends of the sleeves. The front of the robe will be connectedz near the top with some straps and then split and pulled apart. You can also draw her skirt behind the robe’s opening, and then we can continue.

Step 4

Brooms are a famous accessory in the Harry Potter universe. Instep of being used for cleaning, they fly through the air and are even used in the popular game of Quidditch.

We’ll show her holding one of these brooms in this part of your drawing of Hermione Granger. For now, we’ll draw the long, thin handle of the broom she holds in her left hand. We won’t draw the end of the broom for now but will add it very soon!

The last thing to be added in this step will be her legs. To suit the style we’re going for, these legs will be short and stubby with small feet at the end. Then you’ll be ready for some final details and elements in the next step of the guide!

This fifth step of our guide on drawing Hermione Granger will have you add the bristle end of the broom you started in the previous step. The method will be drawn with slightly curved pipe and you can add similar curved lines inside.

The more you can add, the better, as they will help create the look of individual bristles. With the broom finished, you can move on to the final step! Before you do this, you might as well add some extra details!

Step 6

This means that her hair is a darker brown, and then for her scarf. We used alternating red and gold colors since they are her school colors.
